Default Shift Kit Question

How do I know if i have a shift kit installed? She shifts pretty hard into second and third, with some serious tire chirp.

Yea, the car came with some mods already...Would the 4:10's cause tire chirp at all?

The gears were already installed, so i just assume it has a tune. Anybody putting in 4:10's would have to get a tune, no?
