I've had both 1's and 2's. Neither droned. The 1's are just a resonator, no packing or anything, and the 2's are similar to a glasspack in design. Both straight through. I have an MRT catted h btw.

What does your SLP 1.5 mean? What did you do to them?

That takes away a LOTof the drone and loudness right there.

Very true.
OP, what are you running for a midpipe? No matter what, the LM2's will not drone more than flowmasters if everything else stays the same.

exacty...i was going to say you might want to upgrade your mid-pipe first (if you havent already)

you will get some BIG sound gains from changing out the stock mid-pipe.

i have the stock h pipe and stock headersand just the flows.. ive been looking at ano/r x or h pipe but emissions testing and my dad wont allow it. also a catted one is alot of money. and i saw the resonators for only 140 bucks and figured if they were alot louder id pick em up. but i dont want alot of drone. i can get my hands on high flow cats for VERY cheap if that makes a difference in anything.

With the stock h pipe in it I'd go with the lm1's. The converters will keep the loudness and the drone to a minimum.

The SLP catback will bolt right up.

Very little drone.

I have MAC longtubes, CAM o/r H and SLP LMII catback. When I pass a car at WOT with my windows down it hurts my ears. My buddy was able to hear me coming from over 2 miles away cause I was WOT and he lives out in the country. They are loud!! But sound great.
