Track Results. New Bests!
Me and some buddies went out Friday night to the local crap track. Weather was pretty miserable. 80's and humid as hell.
I was a little gun-shy on launching, since she went a haywire last time(backfire). I launched at 4k, and pulled a 1.56 and a 1.52. The transmission was better than ever. I got quite a few compliments on the shifting.
Ran a new personal best of 7.117@96.42 and backed that up with a 7.127@97.31 I need to stop this damn quest for 6's, and become a bracket racer [8D]

Awesome times, I think you should still stay on the quest for 6's and then bracket race. 6's are so close I bet you can smell it.

Zach, dude I swear if someone dont start caring a good high quailty video camera I am going to be pissed...specially when you break the 6s mark and there is no film...haha good job man I bet when it gets cooler and all you can put it in there no problem. Consistant on the times, great to be 5-speed props dude!

lol, the bracket racing comment was a joke. I hate that crap.
When I go to Test N Tune, I get up to the line, and I don't go til I'm damn well ready[8D]. Once I'm staged, I look and make sure the N20 is on, and then get the RPM right where I want it. R/T's don't matter to me.
That was on a 200 shot and 28in Drags. I'm trying 26in Drags next week to see if that helps. The car is hooking TOO HARD I think. Plus the 28's cancel out running the 4.10's. I won't promise 6's in this Tennessee summer heat, but I will promise I'll run my first ever 7.0h's next weekend. Plus the car hates running 28's on the motor. The 26 will be a better all around tire.

P.S. Bramas, the timeslips will be up tomorrow!
