I tried the search function first but it still doesn't work...im just curious as to how safe nitrous is on a stock 2002 gt motor...if you only run a 75 or 100 shot will it wear down the motor significantly aka shorten its life...any info would be appreciated thanks

No you should be fine with a 75 or 100 shot.Just be sure to have it tuned and run the safety switches to insure nothing goes wrong.I just hooked up a 150 shot to my stock motor but I'm having problems with my tuner so I haven't got to run it yet,but there are plenty of people on this site running up to a 150 with no problems.

I wouldn't go out and spray every weekend, but you should be fine with the 75 (safe) shot. Several guys here have sprayed 100 shot and had no problems. 99mustanggt is going to for the 150 shot. I wouldn't go that far on a stock motor because the risk factor goes up. In the end, it's your car but remember that safety always comes 1st!

you dont need to waste money on a tune for a 100 shot or less. run colder plugs and pull a little timing out.

+1. I ran a 100 shot for a year without pulling any timing out on a stock engine with no problems and no tune. Just run a window switch and set it to turn the gas on at 3,000. You ask how strong are the stock motors? After I ran the nitrous for a year I put the procharger on and ran it for another two years. I over-reved it and burnt a valve finally. When I tore the engine down the rotating assembly was still in great shape.

no, not true. I ran a 'big' 100 shot on my stock motor for 5 years and at 121k miles it ran like a top, never burned oil and looked very clean when taken apart.
