so its time for a new exhaust set up. i was looking at the stainless steel systems brand and i like the way it sounds, but i wanted to ask you guys what you knew or had heard about it first. anything i should be aware of with this product?

well, i havent heard anything bad about it. and it sounds like borla at under half the price so i say go for it. stainless steel catback for under 400 bucks...please. get it and let us know what you think.

I am aware that it is a very good product actually. Lots of people on the Mach1registry have it and it sounds wicked, very similar to Borlas. 100% polished. THe guy who helped make it is so cool. I'm not sure if this is occuring now, but the kit will be coming with 4" double wall tips also. Buy it... you will not regret it. I've heard absolutely nothing bad about the product.

Join M1R. The SSS guy is a member on there. They sound very nice and they are a very good price. I was considering the SSS until I got my brand new Magnapack catback for $250 shipped.

How loud is the SSS catback with an O/R midpipe? ....what are they, straight throughs or chambered? I really want the Borla Stinger catback but the price is kind of holding me back a little. If the SSS catback is kind of a knock-off Borla Stinger catback then I may just go with SSS.

They are straight through mufflers and they sound good with a catted midpipe. if they are like stingers like, which is what they look like, they will be very loud with no cats. but i would give it a try. i think when i get the money, im gonna get one of their catbacks.

and another question...SSS exhaust come in 2 different kinds of stainless steel. what is the difference between 201 and 304 stainless steel???

hmm...I'll definitely have to consider the SSS catback then if they are straight through.....My O/R X and Flows sounds awesome! but it's not loud enough for me... Two of our local Mustang club members have the Borla Stinger catbacks with an O/R X and O/R H and they sound incredible!! Borla just cost too freakin much! lol
