Your gonna have to buy a tuner or a speedcal. There are some performance shops that can fix it for you too, but its gonna cost. Well, around here it does......

Just do the install right the first time and get the master kit. I got mine for like $70 on ebay brand new. With that many miles your rear could use the new stuff.

I'm in the same boat as a few of you as well, 2000 GT with 114,000 miles i'm going to put 4.10's in it with the kit. Which tuner do you guys recommend above the others? If there is even one that stands out at least.

+1 on master rebuild kit but also you might want to check into FRPP gears and rebuild kit. from the people I have talked to they go together alot easier then other kits. no need for shims and crap like that. I bought FRPP 3.73 gears but havent put them in yet so I cant tell ya for sure but the builders I know said they where easiest to install. thats good if you do it or have someone else do it, less time spent = less outta your pocket

Isnt modding fun? You always gotta buy something else to compliment your previous mod.

But yea, a tuner would be a good investment. I would recommend Sniper, or a SCT tuned by Brenspeed. Both are close to the same price with the Sniper being the better of the two.

you dont have to buy a tuner for the speedo correction most shops will be able to correct it. a tuner is a good investment though for that plus many other reasons. a tuner will run around $300 + or -
