Default a serious problem

Yesterday while i was driving, i was almost home and suddenly i hear a weird noise coming from the engine, and it really has problems to keep running. I decided to make it home anyway. I open the hood and see that one of the sparkplug poped-out of the engine ...

I can't put it back in because it's too loose, i can't tighten it in. Does anyone can tell me what can i do ?

Thx.

Heli-coil maybe.......where they drill out the existing stripped threads, re-tap / thread the hole, and then screw in an insert that has the same size threads as the original ones.

It is hard to explain, but I had to do it on one of my Harleys once, and it makes it as good as new.

Yeah its a very common problem with the 99-02's. They fixed the problem in 03 by adding more threads in the head. Basically as you already know, your plug was blown out of the head. You can try a helicoil yourself, if you know what youre doing. If not take it to a shop and get them to do it. If the car is still under warranty take it back to ford.
