Default AC problem?

Ok, so I completed my motor swap and the car is up and running. About a week after driving it the AC quit working. I get nothing but hot air. I tried to recharge the system, but the pressure was full. Now when the car is running there is a blackish grey colored fluid spraying up from the bottom of the engine bay and being sprayed all over by the cooling fan. I know the fluid is not engine oil, power steering fluid or brake fluid. It is just a hunch, but I'm pretty sure it is coming from the AC Compressor. Has anyone else experienced something like this. I know I need to get the AC fixed, but I do not want to buy a new compressor and parts if I don't have to. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

ehh just yank the a/c... you dont need it!iv never cracked open a compressor, so i dont know if its lubed with anything(that may be the fluid). is your compressor cracked, or is the fluid coming from a seal or something?

Oh believe me here in Hell Paso you need AC. I don't believe it is cracked, and I think the fluid is coming around the pulley. So I would say that maybe it is a seal.
