Right now i have Magnaflow catback, with a H pipe with 2 high flow cats, I thought the maganflows wont that loud of muffler, 2 charmbe? I want my car alot louder, do you guys think i should get loudmounths, maganpacks, or it wont be that much of improvment in loudness from the magnaflow. My buddy told me to just take the mufflers out and weild stright up thew, with the catted H pipe. would it be real loud?

Buy an O/R X and you should be set.

 

my bad, well i cant buy an off road mid pipe, only can mess with the mufflers.

 

if you want it loud, run turn-downs n u should be satisfied. cut off the tailpipes behind the muffler, also completely legal

 

Ok, well then the cheapest route would be to take them out and put straight pipes in. It will be decently loud, but it will sound like **** and have absolutly NO tone to it at all.

You could spend some money on LM1's or any other type of straight through muffler and make it sound a little bit better.

Why are you so concerned with being loud? Loud is not always good......

 

That depends on where you live. Here in Ohio, they have to at least come over the axle.

 

I just somehting louder, than what I have right now, but i cant mess with the midpipe, So you think even with my catted H and streight pipe it will sound like ****, will it be alot louder at idle than with that magnaflows.

 

ahh i live in north carolina and ibelieve its fine here.. but i think that would still be his best bet

 

I know it will sound like ****, I used to have the same setup. I've never heard Magnaflows at idle so I cant exactly say if it will be louder or not. I can say that ANYTHING with a stock H is not going to be loud like you want it.

 

removing the tailipipes would make it alot louder?
