I don't get it. Last valentines day I walk outside to find someone hit my stang, $450. Today I get the key mark from hell down the side of my car. WTF is it with people? seriously? I live in apartments but I dont even talk to my neighbors, or make any noise. I've walked out to 3 flat tires now too. This is getting rediculous.

any Ideas for a new color? I honestly enjoyed the pacific green but now I have to paint 2 different panels anyways.

I was thinking arctic white, or just the same ole black.

Anyone have any recomendations for paint or a good place for a paint job in the northwest?

Yikes.... Don't know that all of that is necessary.... I understand thathis "improper use of thread title" may have costed you an extra 30 seconds, but is it really that big of a deal...

To the OP, adam is right in the sense that there are guidelines listed to help you get the most out of your post i.e. more responses due to more precise titles just for future reference

As far as your first post goes, that sucks dealing with all of that crap. I have had two cars stolen and another broken into, so I know from first hand experience that dealing with social degenerates blows. And concerning your paint, just stick to the stock color unless you have several thousands of dollars, maybe even between 5K - 8K for a quality paint job. This would include pulling the engine and painting the engine bay, door jambs, etc. Way to big of a task to take on just because you need to paint two panels.

 

You should start talking to your neighbors more

but no really.. unless you ARE going to do it right, with the jambs and all Id just stick with the green, or a variation of green, so it doesnt look dumb if you dont paint the intricates..do maybe a slightly darker shade or something? go to a shop and look for the paint chips for your color, theres almost always variations to choose from to make your color slightly unique.. im actually about to paint my car an 08 mazda red color, and my car is currently the laser red, but its not like ill open my door or hood or truck or something and somebody would go.. ew.. this car wasnt this color before..

thats just the garbage you have to deal with from apartments.. maybe try and get to know your neighbors a little so theres more than just you looking out for your ****.. some dumb ***** dragged her keys/groceries across teh hood of my car when i lived at some apts and my neighbor saw it and told me who it was.. kids do a bunch of crap too.. they just dont care.. they see it on tv and think its funny.. and people get drunk and do shyt they think is funny.. sad to say, i knew some guys at the apt, and he got trashed and dumped oil all the way down the line of cars by the apts and skipped just ours and his.. looked bad the next day with 10 cars covered and 6 in the middle not, lol

 

Once in awhile I carry my Mosin-Nagant out to my car, when the neighbors are out there. I've never had anyone go near my Mustang.
