You need a wiring harness, I think a whole new ecu because I know they changed the system in 2005.

You will need a new transmission. If you are a 5 speed, your t5 will explode, but if your an auto your 4r70w will explode.

You need a new clutch and pressure plate. Because the v6 one would explode if you somehow rigged it to the new transmission.

Also A new rear end will be needed because the 7.5 in the v6 will explode.

And You will need a new fuel pump because the stock one will run lean and your motor will explode.

You will need new exhaust/headers. maybe custom i dont know if anyone make 5.4l headers for mustangs.... Explode


Some other stuff might explode too so be prepaired

 

 

Huum, I see. BUT!!!

 

without adding any sarcasms, just buy a mustang cobra, it's the easiest, hassle free and cheapest way to get a 5.4L

 

hate to break it to you but the only mustang cobras that came with 5.4 Liters are the 2000 Cobra Rs the rest are 4.6L 4 valves, shelbys excluded

edit: oh yeah, with that said 2000 cobra Rs are 55gs if ur lucky.

also, why are u posting in the 4.6L section if u want a 5.4L..
