Here is a conversation between my friend and the car salesmen while he is test driving an 04 Gt. i got a laugh out of it

Friend- I dont know if i am a big fan of the hood scoop.
Salesmen- well it is necessary for the aftermarket intake system.

keep in mind its the stock Gt scoop.

ford salesman for some reason are clueless about mustangs. When I was looking for my GT the salesman was telling me the 99-04 came with a 5.0. And was also explaining to my mom that there is no difference between a cobra and a gt cept for the badges. Lets just say I didn't buy from him and bought from a dealer that sells exclusively mustangs.

 

my first stop for my mustang search a few years agothe guy said "when it comes down to it, I would go with the 35th anniversary v6 rather than an 01 GT. That mach sound system will more than make up for the difference in horsepower.".....then he stalled it starting it up, classic!

 

LOL! now that's funny. when i bought my car the salesman was basically trying to discourage me. He kept saying, "i hate ford, for me it's all about supras and manual eclipse spyders." and i was thinking "WTF?" while trying not to laugh.

 

Car salesmen make a living not knowing anything and lying there *** off.

 

I always thought it would be smarter to just have the mechanics leave the repair area and sell the cars..they would help the new car buyers so much more than the usual salesman ever could
