Default Shifter stops?...

I am looking at a hurst shifter on ebay and the guy mentions that he would install shifter stops for an extra $20. What are shifter stops?

you don't need them. the t-3650 tranny has them built in

He's scamming you anyway. "Installing" shift stops consists of screwinga couple of bolts and jam nuts into the shifter housing, and even if the 3650 needed them (it doesn't because the internal stops were improved vs. the T-45) they would still have to be adjusted once the shifter was installed...[/align][/align]Unless he's planning on coming to your house to do that there's nothing worth $20 involved.[/align]

shift stops prevent you from overshifting when you are racing down the track. like said above, complete waste of money cuz they are built in. MGW sends shift stops along with their just to make sure the shifter doesn't flop around but they tell you like three times in the directions to take them out if you have a the 3650 cuz it can actually do damage
