You don't have a local track or a regional track in your area?

 

Hes probably scared if he runs a full 1/8 or god forbid a 1/4 he might break 60mph!

 

he's 18 and cautious; I wont hold it against him for that. That's better than some retard killing themselves at even higher and less controlled speeds.


+1 on the track though. Once you get a feel of your car and learn to do controlled launches you'll be even a better driver. When you do decide to go do some street light racing you'll be a little more prepared. I'm not questioning your driving but you do have less time behind the wheel, don't be offended. And, I'm not preaching.

I think every kid and young adult should go to the track in the begining that has this habit/urge to race. IT'S MUCH EASIER TO CONTROL A PS2 CONTROLLER THAN IT IS A 3500 POUND CASKET.

i understand what you guys are saying but i wont lie...i dont wanna go to the track b/c i know ill have really ****ty times and i get embarassed easily lol...

my track is about 15 mins away...

 

if your gonna race do it right and leave the tampons at the house.......FYI new cobalt ss ive seen do as best as 14.7 in the 1/4 stock
