Default car wont run

ok i just got my car back from the paint shop and tonight i was putting the inner fender in and while i was in there i cleaned the air filter and put oil on it. then when i went to start it up it started fine then a few seconds later the engine started going glug glug and struggling to stay running, but i backed it out of the garage to park it and it died on me... first time thats ever happened. then i started it right back up and moved it over to my spot and it died again.... then i decided to just pull the battery and wait 5 mins and try to start it again. when i tried again it fired then right when i let go of the key it died. i tried again and the same thing happend. now it wont even start. what is wrong!!?? is the oil somehow keeping it from getting air? it seems like the engine just isnt getting any air. its whatever filter comes with the bbk cold air intake.

Sounds like you got some of the oil on the maf. Take it off and clean it.

either that or a vaccum came un-done. look at your valve-covers and see if that hose is plugged in. but its probably your mass airflow sensor (MAF).

Did you unplug your MAF and not plug it back in?

i checked that and the maf was fine. i just went and washed most of the oil i could get off the filter and let it air dry over night and put it back on today and it fired right up and ran like normal and i drove to work and back without any problems... i guess the filter just didnt like the oil.. or it doesnt need as much as i put on.
