i know this has been asked a million times but i couldnt find an answer whats the max power that you can get from a 4.6 block not the internals just the blck 450?

 

the block holds more than that i think.im not sure about an exact number but 450 is for the stock internals the actual block could hold more.

 

well i know a guy with a mach 1 withthe stock block and he is pushing 1016rwhp with an F1R procharger and nitrous...all with stock block. so the blocks are not an issue. the internals are the weak point. so you can push your block pretty darn hard and not break it.

cool, was thinking about just buying internals instaed of a whole shortblock. anybody knowa good place to get internals from?

 

I am pretty sure a good forged rotating assembly will cost about $1800.
