Default Simco Gauges

Anyone else have these? I always liked the look of the Autometer Lunar series gauge cluster, but found it to be kind of expensive (if you could even find one). they were in the $400+ range. These Simco ones were only $269 from AM & look almost identical to the Autometer ones. I think Simco even makes this cluster for Roush. Anyway here`s the pics (not great, crappy camera[&:]). One think I like about these is the fact that you use your odometer, & also you can dim these all the way down ( I understand you could not with the Autometer cluster). Inatall time was about an hour

What is that horse in the bottom of the guage cluster, in that area where "theft" light and CEL are. It's between the hazard button and the 150 on the speedo, incase anyone didn't see it.

No problems. You just have to move your original electronic circuit board from the original cluster to the new one. You also have to move your electronic odometer to the new cluster ( two screws). They give you pretty detailed instructions. Youcan also check out the instructions on their website http://www.simcoltd.com

The horses are like a hologram across the bottom lense. You can only see them from a certain angle. There are like four or five of them.

I had those in my GT and I loved them. The only problem was that the redline wasn't a solid line and it was sometimes difficult to tell where it is.
