dyno difference

Default dyno difference

i remember seeing that there are 2 different kinds of dynos.. dyno jet and whats the other? also whats the difference between them?

load base and non-load based. Dyno Jets is not a load based dyno, load based dynos like a Mustang Dyno is good for tuning and usually show lower #'s. There are a few types of dynoes out there. I think one is called Eddy (I could be wrong) but I think that one you take the wheels off and hook directly to it.

well there are more than just 2. but the main 2 are dynojets and mustang dynos(how could you forget that one???) but the mustang dynos are more for tuning and are bad for numbers because you can make changes to load and vary the hp number. dynojets are more consistent.

alright thanks guys.. i knew what type of dyno my shop has just didnt know exactly what it did compared to other dyno types
