Default New Engine TODAY! :(

Tomorrow my new engine is finally going to be done and ready to be fired up. I am getting a tune on Monday or Tuesday. I'm just a little bit exited now.

Well I started out with just CMS stage 1 cams and when I installed them. I did not fully torque down the crank pulley which is what holds the crank trigger wheel from scraping the timing cover. The wheel scraped against the timing cover and shot a boat load of aluminum shavings into my oil system. The metal shavings destroyed almost every one of my bearings.

So I broke down and took it to a shop. So now I have a new shortblock which is over bored .020 and a pair of Patriot Stage II heads.

With everything just under 5k.

BUT now I have another problem I went to the shop today to take a look at my car and turned it on and there is a mysterious ticking noise. So the shop is going to look into it and see what is f*cked up.

really nothing, the pistons are a little bit stronger than the stock ones but the rods are the same hypereutectic piles of junk as the oem stuff.
