stupid tips!

Default stupid tips!

ok so no matter how much i tighten my tips on my bassani exhaust a couple of days later the damn thing slides back out of the hangers and bangs around. its really starting to get on my nerves, i think i might just weld the damn things on! anyone had a solution?

You should have welded them in the first place.

take it to an exhaust shop and weld it on

I'd say get them looking perfect and tack the in place. You probably don't want to go crazy when welding them in case you ever change your mind and decide to get another set of tips.

i didnt think about tacking them. ill do that just in case i ever wont to remove them

My Magnaflow tips were being a bitch like those. I haven't done it yet, but bring it to the exhaust shop like everyone said. If the bolt is backing out, you could use some Loc-tite.

My Bassani catback did that, too. I ended up taking the tailpipes off and using turn downs, since my tires rubbed, so I don't worry about it anymore.

The clamps that came with my Bassani exhaust have never came loose.They are the heavy duty clamps that have a bolt through two heavy steel inserts.
Kinda' like these but with bolts on each side.
