Default Best Anti-theft device

Had someone rummage around in my car in the middle of the night. Yes I left it unlocked, I'm an idiot. no damage and nothing of value in the car, but I'm a little concerned now that next time they'll decide to just take the car. what's the best anti theft device that's not unreasonably expensive?

Is the Viper a pretty easy install or more of a wiring nightmare?

Well i found out the hard way that the little chip in your key and the one in your dash work quite well. I had the one in my dash go bad and it left me stranded. I dont know what it would take to hot wire around that, but im guessing it would take some skill

i also have the python.. its nothing short of bad ***. of course no alarmm will save my vert but it does give me piece of mind. from what i understand the wiring is a little involved..theres a lot of little dohickies you can have on the alrm also..so the install varies im sure.

My brother had several break ins with his vehicle. He hooked up a portable welder(somehow) to his doors. The next time they came back. They ended up in the hospital. And he never had trouble again.

$ 20

Driveway patrol -ebay

motion detector alert, best dam device ever ; ).

Put it on the dash, it will wake you up in the house . Mine alerted me to a spider on a web coming through my sunroof !, so even spiderman cant get in .

If your car is being towed, it will fall or slide and alert you as well.
