you do realize though that these heads are $2000 and they do not come with cam shafts with them or in them for that matter. so if its really worth it to you, go ahead and get them because it will be probably over $3000 before you are done with a head swap. i mean i never see people going with stage 3 heads. they are always just stage 2 heads that ive seen people on this forum put on their cars. so does anyone know if any of the other ported heads from say MMR or Fox Lake have the same specs and flow just as much as the Livernois heads do??? Fox lake stage 2 heads offer about the same specs and are cheaper so i dont know what would make the livernois heads any better.

oh, and on livernois' website says that only when you use 1 3/4" headers will you get the 205 CFM out the exhaust side so if you want those numbers, you would have to invest in some of those as well which i think you would have to go to kook's or American Racing to get a set of 1 3/4" headers and there you are looking at like another $1300 for headers and $300 for an x pipe to match it. so you are looking at a lot of money to do this swap and get what livernois did on their in house motor at their cost(which wont add up to the $4-5K it would cost us to do the swap and get maximum performance out of it like they did). so not to burst your bubbles but it would take a lot more than a usual head swap.

Alot of 2v's run stage 3s. In the case of Patriot, the valves are too big for the stock bore. So you have to go .030 over to run them. It doesn't make that much of a difference, if any while N/A.

I haven't read the article. I was just saying. What was the C.I. of the motor in question?
