Default 2003 gt

Hey guys new member here. I found a beautiful White 2003 Mustang GT with tan leather interior. Only has 50k miles on it, garage kept, excellent condition.

Made an offer but the only thing is, it is an automatic. It will be my DD (and hopefully I get my new job which means I might be working nights so no traffic) But lets be honest, I will be "spirited" also

It doesn't really matter to me but my buddies are hassling me (its funny because they can't even afford one) I know I will not find another mustang as clean as this one (nearby) I've always wanted an 03-04 GT and with a good job I can get it.

Is there really a big difference? All I can tell is that the manual is cheaper, and you control the car more.

Any feedback would be awesome, thanks

Autos are a bit slower but with a good tune can take down a manual.

Don't let your buddies sway your opinion. Sometimes there is a perfect car that you find and it is either missing something you want or has something you would less desire. But in the end you will kick yourself if you pass up a real good deal...cause most of the time they don't come very often. In stock trim autos lose a little more horsepower as a result of it being Auto...they take more power to run the internals than a manual and also the Auto transmission itself is heavier...don't know by how much but with those 2 factors it will make the car just a bit slower than a bone stock 5-speed. But if you get some gears it will more than enough make up the difference. Taking it a step further with a stall, j-mod(shiftkit), and tune then you really start pulling away from a stock 5-speed.
