So our cousin keeps saying buy a mach 1 motor then our friend says buy a 5.4 im clueless i want around 550RWHP so let me know what to do guys hook us up please thats why were always asking questons on here and all the ppl who have helped us thanks soooooooooo much!!!!! i attached my car pics also sorry for so many damn questiones buthow can i make one of those cool *** pics with my car on it and all the specs???
As for the pics, most of that stuff is done in photoshop and other pic editing stuff, my trial just expired or i'd do it for you lol, and a 5.4 would fit, but it comes down to personal prefrences really... What are you going for? nitrous monster? F/i(forced induction) supercharged/ turbo <--- u said something about this earlier in another thread,
First things first hangin around this site you will learn very quickly that you can have 550whp and not have a very fast car, 1/2 the battle (atleast) is suspension and tires, ive said it before and i'll say it another 1000000 times.
As for your motor, i'm actually not sure on what block is in your 02 GT but like i stated before to get that much rwhp and to have it done safely you need A Forged Rotating assembly, a Rotating assembly is your crankshaft, rods, and pistons, as well as bearings and rings, bascially the bottom end of your motor, like i said they need to be forged to handle anymore than 450ish WHP <-- stock LIMIT! and some people would say thats pushing it, If you're going F/I (s/c or turbo) You will need a relativly low compression... 8.5:1 would probably work (compression is based on Your rotating assembly) 4v heads flow better and respond better than 2vs to mods, and have a better top end as well, i think you may need some sort of spacer for 4v heads to your block, not entirely sure, someone feel free to jump in there, you will also need as 35th pointed out in other thread, cooling system, harness, PCM, intake manifolds im not sure if you will need a spacer for the intake manifold as well? I'd personally supercharge it, turbos Get expensive, but in the end its your car, you will need a Turbo, the piping ofc/ Intercooler
Bigger injectors(more air = more fuel = more power, a new Fuel pump, possibly dual Ford GTs, for up to 700 or 750 whp? applications.
Good luck and be safe over there.
