Default What engine do I have?

I have a 02 Gt and I have looked and searched and I come up with all kinds of different results. My 8th vin# is a W but the oil filter is on the driver side so is it a Romeo or a Windsor? And had my oil changed buy a oil change place( usally do it myself) and they said they ran the vin# and had a 6 quart motor but it only takes 5, any ideas?

The VIN # does not tell you Romeo or Windsor, only if it's a 4.6L.

Your car has a Romeo 4.6L 2V. You need 6 qts of oil with a filter change.
