Default Quick question about swapping midpipes

I've had my O/R x-pipe on for maybe 3,000 miles or so and I'm going to be swapping the catted x-pipe back on since my inspection is creeping up around the corner.

Do I have to buy another thingy, for the lack of a better word, to put in between the passenger side pipe and the manifold? Even if the pipe has only been on for about 3k?

Wow... have any of you had such a serious brain fart that you can't even remember a simple word? LMAO. Oh well you know what I mean by "thingy".

Wow thank you. How sad is that. My fart was so bad I couldn't remember the word "gasket".

But yes. Do I need to get a new gasket again?

Maybe. Maybe not. Not sure really. I'll probably wait to get a new catback before I do.

Good point. It's not like they're expensive either.

If you bend or kink the one on there now when you take off the x pipe, get a new one. If not, use it. It's not like it's been on that long. Even my stock on that was there for 40k miles was OK to re-use when I changed to the O/R x. I had already bought a new one, though, just to be sure, so I changed it.
