Default 4:10s or 3:73s ?

I want to get some gears which would suite me better? I don't take my car to the track, the only type of racing I would try is auto x but I'm not sure about that. I just like to cruise around but I would like a little bit more get up and go when I step on the gas. My car is 02 GT with O/R h flowmaster CB. Any info would be great.

i can't imagine you would exceed speeds of like 80?mph (and thats high) i know nothing about autox so correct me if im wrong so im guessing alot of low end acceleration i'd go 4.10s which are still Daily drivable, if it was strictly auto x id go like 4.56s lol, but that would kill ur mpg.

I think I'm sold on 4:10s. What I meant in my post is that maybe somewhere down the road I might try auto x. I have no idea on the specifics of auto x but when and if I am interested I'll search for info. Thanks

For you guys with4:10 when you have them installed do you rebuild the trac lok? I looked on American muscle and they had that as an option when buying them. Is that or anything else recommened or are they just trying to sell me something I don't need?
