Well I got my cowl on yesterday and took some pictures with my crappy work camera. I'm not too happy with my painters formula though so I'm going to reshoot the hood and blend the fenders at my new shop once I get to know the guys over there. LOVE the look though especially from the inside. I've gotten it up to about 60 and noticed zero vibration but, I might get pins for cheap insurance. We bolted the hood up dropped it down and with a little pressure it'll latch (since it's so light) and it needed zero adjustment to fit flush. AWESOME quality.

I'll get some better pictures this weekend. I feel like I need another .5" front 1" rear drop though to streamline the look.

 

Looks good...ever think about doing some tint? I guess I am so use to looking at my car tinted...but never the less nice job!

 

I may one day, my wife really wants me to tint it. The only problem is the town I work in is an automatic impound for tint (stupid I know). While I've never been hassled for the many other illegal things about my car I'm not sure if I want to risk talking my way out of an impound...that or I just won't bring it to work lol

I hear ya...maybe at least the back window. The state of il has a pretty harsh tint law...I do know that it is legal to tint the side back quarters and very back window. You wouldn't have to go real dark...just dark enough to give the car that sleek look. As you can tell my windows are pitch black...lol...4% and illegal to boot. I don't drive the car very much...it is not my daily driver and when I do drive it it's with the windows down. I am taking my chances...I know that but I can't help it...car looks so damn good with it on there.

I had a 91 5.0 with the same set up...driver and passenger door limo tint dark...got busted by an unmarked offduty police car. Talk about pissed...the guy(officer) wanted to kick my *** for having that **** on there. The cop got all bent out of shape saying that you punks think you can do anything you want to car and get away with it. I was like calm down and just write me the ticket. What an a**hole he was. That car was my daily driver so I had no choice to drive with the windows up on cold and rainy days. But I understand where he is coming from though...he doesn't know who is on the other side of that window. I just thought he was out of line with me and could of handled it in a different manner but choose to be mr tough guy. I am not a big guy by all means and don't look like the type that would start chit with the police but I took what he dished at me went home peeled off the tint and that was that.

If or I guess WHEN I tint I'm getting all 5 done, I'd just pay the ticket if I ever got caught. Same with the front plate. I will NEVER have on on this car. Hell I don't even have one on my DD civic, I hate them.
