That has happend to my 1000 a few times too. If you just disconnect your battery and then reconnect it it will reset your stereo and that has always fixed it for me.

Also works with the 'Cd error' problem.

Just started the Stang up today and it spit on CD out and I didn't even start playing with it. I was surprised it did. Kept on trying the other ones but "CD error" keeps on coming up. Also tried a pin but that didnt work, just kept on getting fustrated. I'll try the disconnecting my battery later and see if it resets the sterio if it comes out. still have 5 in there and wont change, eject or play any, just "CD ERROR"

I guess just using one or two cds in there at a time would stop the problem of jamming up. I hope

Unplugged my battery and no good still comes up with CD error. Earlier it was making the shuffling sound but now its not again so I will just take it to the mustang shop to have them fix it. Its saying every slot it full but i think there is only 4-5 in there, lol
