Not much more than a GT. When I priced out mine It was $17 dollars per month more for a 2003 cobra vs v6

depends on a lot of factors. If you have another, cheeper car that you can be rated on as a daily driver, it will be a lot less. Allstate, and most other low risk companies, ie state farm, american family, won't insure someone under the age of 23 with a car like a mustang unless they have another car, or are living under their parents roof.

In other words, it depends. If you have a beater car that you can be rated on as well, it will benefit you a lot less, and it also depends on how much coverage you get, what condition the car is in, etc.

I'm 19 and have allstate and mines not to bad. But I also have another car and a f150 under the same policy. Believe it or not it is actually more expensive to ensure a 6 cylinder stang than a gt because more people have them so more people wreck in them. Well thats at least what the lady at all state told me when i went to get a quote for mine.

Yea what you can also do is have your parents pay for the insurance and then pay them. Its what i do and its ALOT cheaper. and im under the policy so i can drive the car which is mine.

it will be better in the long run if he puts it in his name now. the longer you have a policy with them the more discounts they give you and it will help your credit out.
