Mother ******* WRECK...
Sorry to hear about your accident but Im glad your okay. Your Mustang can be
repaired or replaced. I lost my youngest 19 year old brother in a bad car accident
and last July my Aunt was in a head on collision and her vehichle went airbourn
killing her friend and she spent 93 days in the hospital with alot of major
injuries. We almost lost her. She was hit by a man that was on drugs and drunk
going 75 mph. Good luck with your Mustang.

I do to. Thanks guys. I just contacted his insurance company (Geico). They took down all the information and gave me the adjuster's name. At the very end of the call the CS representative tells me there may be a "problem" with the insured's coverage. They are going to check into it and call me back. I asked her if that meant he didn't have coverage or what the deal was. She said there might be a limitation on his coverage.
I assure you one thing. There won't be a limitation on my anger if I am told they aren't going to pay for it.
Off topic sort of: A 15 year old kid that lives a few houses down from me died last weekend when his girlfriend rolled her explorer and he was ejected. I met him and his older brother the day before his death when they were out working on his LS1 and LT1 Camaros. Ironically, when I went to the body shop this morning they took me to a large garage where they put wrecked vehicles, and my car was sitting right next to what looked like the remains of an explorer. When I asked the employee what the story was behind it (here is the eerie irony).....he told me it was involved in a rollover last weekend and a 15 year old kid was killed...It was eerie to look at a vehicle that someone spent there last few seconds in, especially when you just talked to him prior to the occurrence.
Tried to submit the story in the R.I.P. section, but the admins aren't approving it.

you better get the name of the adjuster, and you should have gotton estimates before you took it into the body shop, so that they couldn't have screwed you over.
I'm all for geico, they are a great company, but do realize it's government subsidized (kinda), geico stands for Government Employee Insurance Company.
*I used to work for allstate, so that's why I'm telling you this. it doesn't matter what state you in, there is no way his liability coverage was that low.
Don't let that insurance company **** you over. Stick it to them. You pay your monthly just like everyone else - and this is one of those times where YOU should be compensated for what happened. I wouldn't let them stiff-arm me. Not without a fight, and a good one at that.
I'm going to head down to the shop for pictures of the damage hopefully in a few minutes. I found out Geico had looked up the wrong policy. The policy they saw was for the kid back when he paid for his own insurance, but canceled it and is now under his parents. The adjuster is supposed to come out tomorrow to take a look at the damage. I'm going to make sure I'm there so I can go over the cost of the damage and not let her BS me with her low-ball offer, which I'm sure she'll try to pursue. Judging by the car and the work done to it she should know better than to try low-ball me. Don't adjusters get paid by the amount they save the insurance company?
see if they will replace the front bumper and sell me yours for cheap!!

if you havent already take it to a body shop and stand there while they write you an estament for the damage and point out stuff if they dont see it, then show it to the insurance adjuster whe he shows up. when my lincoln was backed into the adjuster based the damage off the body shops estament and very little of what he looked at.

oh the adjuster that did my lincoln was form a indepentent company from that area and said that they get like 75.00-150.00 depending on the drive per adjustment they do. he told me that that day he had looked at 50+ cars and drove about 500 miles.
