Default What next...

I have been saving my money since last september for my wedding....well my fiancee and I are getting married next month so then I will finally be able to spend some money on my car again...not too much though because I am going to focus on getting a large chunk of my miscellaneous debt paid off.

I am looking to spend about $500 - $600 on some things just to feed the mod bug and buy myself time to pay toward credit cards and school loans. Right now I am thinking of a set of 17 x 10 anthracite dd bullitts for the rear and maybe some upgraded brake pads all around. Ya'll always seem to help people spend their money...Hook me up with some direction!!

well with 600 bucks its going to be impossible to buy yourself a set of bullits and tires and even if you did , trust me and get a 10.5 dd rim.looks alot better imo.honestly if you just need to feed the mod bug i would buy a tuner(your going to need one sooner or later)and a set of gears 4.10s or 3.73s depending on your situation.that'll feed your mod bug for a little bit.and you could use the tuner to recalibrate the computer for the gears.

I agree with Fausty. Get gears and a tuner. I bought my tuner from Breenspeed (SCT) and it was very easy to use. If your car is a daily driver buy 3:73's if not go with 4:10's. The tuner is about $300.00 bucks and the gears are around $200.00 (summit racing).

I would not be looking to buy a full set of wheels & tires, just the rears...which you can get from American Muscle or LMR for about $500.

A tuner is not a bad idea...I may put some more thought into that route.

Gears are unfortunately out of the question right now though. I have shopped prices and steve0914 can attest for this, but install around here is expensive. I would be looking at about $600 for gears and install and then another $300 for a hand held to calibrate my speedo.
