F$%^ the Mach 460
yes. mine was basically plug and play i believe.. 562 is an idiot, he probably spliced the wrong wires together!! yeah im callin u out on ur retardedness 562!
anyway, just make sure you splice the wires correctly and it all should work right... idk how it wouldn't. im running a sub and amp with my 460 and every speaker works, ive had this head unit for 2 years now. works perfectly.. its so easy to install. most are backed by a 1 year warranty or soemthing.. i wouldn't trade mine for anything. my sisters boyfriend even bought the same head unit i have bc he loved it so much lol. but no, you shouldn't have any problems with the speakers not working. ive never heard of that until 562 said it. but like i said, maybe he messed up splicing the rear right and rear left wires to each other..

Bitch
you have to buy an adapter the get an aftermarket deck to work. you can get one at frys electronics or best buy. i actually want to get a stock 460 back in my car. i sold mine on ebay a while ago and put a monitor in my car. i didn't pay for it but i never use it to watch vids or anything. and it's kinda a pain to keep changing out cds instead of having 6 already in it. idk.
the one i got came with an adapter thingy... everything i needed for 175. but ur right, some head units you have to buy the adapter..
and 562, we have a lot in common!!!!
except im not an idiot =P come drive your freight-liner over to nj and try to pin my azz

back ontopic, how do i splice it the right way to make my rear speakers work?
Thanks for the help guys. I don't want another 460 head unit. They're pieces of ****. I'll just get a new single CD head unit. I'm not looking for any fancy DVD playing, light show, crazy things. Just something to reliably play CD's. I don't even have an iPod, just CD's and I'm happy.
do u have an mp3 player? Go to best buy and get a hard wired fm modulator. You will never worry about cd's ever again. The one I got costp me 40 bucks and now I can play my iPhone's music through the stock system.
Edit: no iPod, never mind. Slow connection ftl.
