Default What can i do with these??

I have my NPI heads and can i do anything with them that would get me some extra mod $? Scrap metal yard or something? no sane person would buy these POS'. And i don't want to spend the money to have the **** ported out of them then sell or build another motor. Is my best bet to chuck these things in the garbage? lol

Aluminum is going for a pretty good piece of change! Scrap yard FTW!

BRILLIANT!!!!!!! thanks black. LOL. I could stand the heads up on their side and just set the glass on top. then for a nice decorative center piece i could put the POS intake manifold in the middle

I think salvage yard will be my best bet. I didn't think about the cost of aluminum. I think a ported NPI swap would be a down grade from the ported PI swap i just did lol.

I really think stuff like that is cool...

I actually made one out of an old ford big block.

But to OP my local salvage yard pays $1.55 per lb of alumanium so you can make a good chunk of change.

Which is not too bad for trash.

EDIT: make sure you disassemble them before you take them to the scrap yard, otherwise they may only give you the money for "mixed scrap" which is usually much less.

that is actually really cool... did you just have it tack welded like that or are there actual holes that you were able to use? (for the rods into the block)

Well I was going to drill and tap some holes and Bolt up the rods(that way i could take it apart to move if if i ever had to.) But I just got lazy and welded them up.
