Default HID question

I don't really care about having high beams in HID, just low. I still want to have high beams, just keep them factory. Would I just go with the single beam model or would having just single beam keep my high beams from working at all?

I want to do the fogs as well. What bulb type do I need for the headlights and fogs? Thanks.

Your bulbs are dual filament which means they are both highs and lows in one bulb. If you get an single beam HID your car will not have high beams at all. I would suggest getting the dual beam bulbs.

As for the sizes, you will need 9007 for the headlights and 893 for the fogs.

Thanks for the input. I can't find 893s no this website http://vvme.com/

This website has some great prices at wholesale basically. Can't hardly find a fog HID kit for under $140

when i turn on my high beams its actually worse because the fogs turn off and they are brighter then the stock lights... I had to drive home from phili with just fogs and ambers and i didnt get pulled over or anything and i could see fine, they are that bright.

you can fix your foglights turning off when u turn ur brights on, u gotta do fog light thing tho, i dont remem a link off hand, i have the dual beam hid headlights & hid foglights and ilove them, i honestly dont even use my brights unless some idiot flashes their brights at me then i flash my brights back and they kick their normal lights on.

So, on this website http://vvme.com/catalog/list-s-10145-10146.html if I got the $40.00 HIDs I would only have low beams and couldn't do highs. For highs as well I would have to go for the $80 HIDs? I wish I could keep my stock high beams. That's the way the gf's BMW is. Lows are HID, and highs have option for HID or regular non-HID beam.

I have the HID single beam setup.... works great, never need the high beams. The low beams are plenty bright.
