Default shocks/struts for my GT

Time has come for new shocks and struts for my 03 mustang GT lowered with Steeda competition springs. Couple of people i have spoken to have mentioned Tokico D-specs and Bilsteins, but i was wondering if there is anything out there a bit cheaper that are quality? They don't need to perform as well as the Tokico D-specs or Bilsteins, but a good average one that can withstand the competition springs and the car being lowered. Thanks for any opinions and recommendations guys!

i got a set of these from Brenspeed about 4-5 months ago along with a set of Eibach Sportlines which lower your car about 2 inches all around and i got no complaints. i like them very much i like being able to adjust them and make the ride softer or stiffer. but for the price they're selling them on stangsuspension you might as well get the D-spec, i got mine for around 400 from brenspeed.

I've read that lowered 99-04's can use fox body shocks and struts. These will bolt right in?

Thanks so much!

I have the Tokico HP Blue's all around and love them. I paid $272 shipped for all four from Brenspeed last spring. I'm really happy with them.

Well I have C springs which are relatively stiff but the ride is pretty good. Not as cushy as stock obviously but the car has a nice planted, solid feel.

My springs are real stiff. Good. I may go with these then. Did you use the models for fox bodies or for the new edge? I swear i read a bunch of times that fox body struts and shocks should be used on lowered new edges.......

A general rule of thumb is if you're lowered more than 1.5" then you'd be better off with the fox bodies but either way you'll be fine.
