Default top speed?

im sure some are aware of the fires in SoCal, and they closed of part of the free way (the 2). me and my friend we're driving around and noticed there we're no cars on the freeway.(literally no car with in miles on the free way) I decided to take advantage. i was able to hit 150mph and ride it there(thanks god for a slight down hill). car felt really stable, didnt take to long but it was able to ride at 150. im sure ppl are going to chime in saying unsafe. btw no ppl we're in my car. and i had a radar detector just to make sure lol. but i road race up at willow springs and its common to get to 120-130 so i've been at those speeds before and know how my car handles.
jw but how fast have you guys gotten your car to go? or does the speedo not go high enough haha.

I have buried the speedo and was still climbing. I am guessing over 160. But the car was stock suspension still and felt like it was floating.

I've said it before, but I've been 187mph at the firebird international raceway in Phoenix Arizona (road course), and I have enough stuff done to the car for it to be safe

I need to go to the "Texas Mile" One of the more "safer" places to top out your car!

"Real tracks don't have corners."

There's a "real track" a bit south of here with corners--they are all left turns...

Weksos. You should be able to peg the thing, but you're going to need a set of gears or you're going to be sitting there for awhile.
