instead of messing with the back i would go with coilovers on the front... leave the back alone and get to them later..

if your going to go the coil route. you have to do it on both ends. otherwise the ride quality will suffer. Big difference in spring rates. not to mention the load factors. If your going to do it, Do it right the first time and be done!

coilover springs on the back are a terrible idea... people have got better 60fts going from adjustable coilovers and all the fancy stuff to stock springs and decent shocks.

ok... example... i had my 5.0, did a decent bit of front suspension work, left the rear alone, yea it got off the line prty good... i have my 4.6... did suspension all the way around(still need to put 4cyl springs in the front, and yes leave the stock rear springs back there, but thats all thats stock back there) and this car gets out of the hole much better with less hp/tq.

so i say, stiffen the rear some too, dont just throw all your money in the front

I agree or if you want something that is street/strip friendly can't beat the KYB AGX adjustable struts/shocks

i really liked my strange10ways, but the 90/10s transfer weight better, no question

I think ZW Runs Coilovers in the Front and not the back with Lakewood Shocks Out back and Upper Control Arms.... and he Cuts good 60ft times..

suspension in the front in my opinion helps because it helps transfer weight, which in turn helps traction no matter what tire or what surface you are on...

i have had completely build solid end, double adjustable uppers, adjustable lowers, all that crap, and i dont think it made as big of a difference as my kmember made and battery relocate did... also didnt help as much as my coilovers and a arms did...

The solid lasted a week, you give up way too much comfort and driveability for the little gain in traction...

but if you really want to hook in a street driven carn IRS>solid allllllll day long.
