Well It doesn't necessarily have to be plastic, you could make a metal gate frame and just make a plastic cover, I just think that anything big and shiny would look out of place.

ohhhhhh!!!!!! shiny!!!!!!!!

..but anyways i'd paint it charcoal, it would look sick under the mgw shifter!

because i'm auto. the gated shifter isnt for me. its for a friend.

oh ok, it just seems like if you get sloppy with your shifting it could knock it loose. good luck with it, i hope it looks sweet!

I think something like this would look neat with a ROUSH shifter.. not so much an mgw. thats a wide opening on each shift path.
