I'm not sure the 2.1 Will have enough steam to run to 600rwhp on a pump gass set up before it succumbs to heat, not to mention, your list is sort of confusing. You have two different pistons listed, JE or Mahle or Manley? which is it?

What's the final SCR supposed to be?

I think your limit is going to be right at around 500-550(maybe)rwhp, on pump gas. Who knows, maybe on 100 octane or more, you might be able to pull it off, but I don't think so.

You have to understand, running a KB your going to experience Heat soak like nothing else, with IAT's in the 180+ range. Under boost, mine are around 75-80* when it's 100* outside. Your going to have a hard time overcoming that, especially since I see zero mention of any cooling mod like a decent heat exchanger or a bigger resoivoir, or hell, you could even go with a meth injection system, My buddy running a 600rwhp cobra is using meth to combat the high intake temps, and even then, he isn't anywhere near as cool of an intake charge as I am.

I think both the small size, which will create a problem with heat, and the Mahle pistons are going to limit you. I was told that Mahle pistons (by myslow2002gt) really shouldn't be used in applications with pressure above 15PSI.

don't get me wrong, set up at around 480rwhp I think that set up would be pretty damn nasty, and I would imagine if you have nothing done to your transmission that 480 would be more than enough to start breaking things. Just make sure your tune is spot on.

yeah i figured heat soaking would be a problem, but thats ok if its around 500 that should still be more than enough for the street. and about the mahle pistons you say it should be used for anything above 15psi. im using the 14psi pulley but will prolly only be making like 12 or 13 do to the headers and cams. will these pistons still be a problem?

if they are really manley, are they 15cc or 17cc dish? mahle offers 16cc, but manley doesn't, then you should be fine.
