thanks fellas. it was a nice buck too but yeah it will get fixed soon. all of the materials will cost about 300 dollars and the paint is starting to come off so it will need paint but no labor costs so i guess thats good.

Tis the season... I work as an estimator in a body shop and every year at this time we put up a sign with a picture of a Durango that has a dead deer stuck in the windshield. The customers seem humored to get the chance to put a check mark down for their car on the calendar under it. Got a BMW Thursday with a big hole in the passenger side of the windshield and about two pounds of broken glass sprayed all over the interior. One Audi convertible last year cost $19,000 to fix and the deer got up and ran off after the accident.

Yours looks like a pretty quick fix. Just be glad he didn't pop the glass.

I considered going out for a spin tonight but the first two weeks in November are absolutely the most active for deer hits here in southern Ohio. I let it sit.

This is what happens when an E63 6 series (?M6?) hits and processes a deer at 140 mph on the Autobahn in Germany.
