You can buy the gears and then that will give you the incentive to save up for the install.
Gears alone run about $150 but you will need more than just gears to do the install so here http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...0%201&comp=LRS check them out.

gears are pretty expensive once you get them and have them installed, however my clutch blew out so i had them both replaced at the same time and came out to around $700 or 1k (one of those numb)

Gears and dont look back. but if you are dead set against getting gears, get an o/r x pipe. that will give you loudness and power. but i say gears overall. you are looking at a roundabout price of $400-$500 for total of the gears and the install. and if you do gears, get the master bearing and rebuild kit through american muscle so your rear is fresh for the new gears.

you could buy the gears and wait to get them installed

you could get a Throttle Body & plenum from pro products

you could get Steeda Underdrive pulleys and some appearance mod

you could get a Tri-ax and maybe a Throttle body too if you know the discount code to AM

A mid pipe and maybe A throttle body or Shifter
