Default any advice!

hey guys, i have a 2000 gt w/a 5-speed. i'm gonna put 4:10 gears in it and a total exhaust system. what else can be done to hook up the hp! i was really thinkin bout a s/c! any advice would be greatly pre-shated!!!

thanks for all the input! i'm in murfreesboro, tn.! my budget for now is around the $3000-$4000 range! i'm wanting a really fast car, and still b an everyday driver too! i really dig the saleen look and performance, but can't afford a real 1 !!! thanks again for all the advice!!

This is a great deal for the price range you mentioned. If I had that much to spend at once, that is what I would buy.

depends on your goals for the car, and from reading what you wrote, turbo's probably aren't for you, unless you plan on 9second ET's at the track.

Turbo's are far more work than most people realize, and they also cost alot more as well.

If you want a daily driver go with something lower because 4.10 will KILL your gas on the highway, plus you top end speed will be a ****load harder to get to. As far as you s/c - turbo question, it's up to you to really decide. Superchargers are better for your car and they last longer and dont take as long to start boosting. Turbo's give you more power starting at slightly higher RPM's, but they break quite often if you run it alot so that will cost you alot more in the end. Hope this helps!
