Default The Part Ordering Has Started... Pics too

now that the winter has come the money i saved is starting to be spent...

- Summit upper and lower control arms (which went from $230 to $99, i even messaged dimebag thought something was wrong haha)
- Strange Shocks/Struts
- J&M Full Length Subframe Connectors

On sat me and a friend will be doing the shocks and lower and upper control arms, any advice or tips are welcome.

getting excited soon the rear will be built and i can finally launch this thing. I also put new fogs in hood was recently put on. heres how it looks as of now.

Should be easy for you guys the only advice I can think of for now is have grinder with some cutting wheels on hand cause the stock control arm bolts can be a pain. Mine wouldn't come loose so I cut them off

Hey you... less internet posting and more car progess!

To the OP, this looks like it's going to be a nice build. And on the control arms just do one at a time.

Car is looking great and from the sounds of it, it's gonna have a little bite when you get done.

its cake man, the fronts are simple, get the front up on jackstands, and put a jack under the one a arm, lift up untill it moves just slightly, to get the weight on it, and undo the 1 top and 2 bottom ones, take it out, and put the new one in

the back, just do everything once at a time, and have a pry bar handy, again its not hard

for what its worth, i had strange shocks/struts on my 5.0(which was a h/c/i/spray car with suspension, so you can imagine, the car did ok for itself) and loved them, the only reason i didnt get them on this car was to try something differant.

thanks for all the responses, yes its a 3in cowl that i bought off my friend for 200 he got it a few years ago he forgets what make but he knows his stuff and never gets cheap parts so i trusted it.

hpwrestler220- yeah i have enough money for the parts. Video Editing, Filming, and working at a Bagel Shop is paying for it haha, but as you can see the list changed a little so im now saving some, the cams may not be until spring now because that money might go toward a macbook pro. Just save your money for 6 months and then buy a bunch of stuff at once its more fun and makes you feel better about the money you just spent because you can feel a difference.
