Default tire sizes?????

hey guys, sorry to bother but i got a question! i bought a 00' gt and it came w/18" chrome saleens, whoever had the car before me put very low profile tires on it and it rides really tough. what are some good tire sizes i can go with, it's got 18x9's on front and 18x10's on rear. i like wide tires on the rear! thanks for any advice and or pics!! off the topic but i had my first race in it and busted a s-10 w/a 305 ***!!

Wouldn't it be 245/40/18?

245/45/18 would be a bit tall.

Go to Americanmuscle.com, when you look at the wheels they tell you what you size you should be running for that rim and the year of your car.

I never read the OP haha just the reply. You want wider than a 245.

Probably a 275/35 and a 305/30 or something like that.

definately wider than a 245 on a 9" wheel up front. 305 or a 315 if you can out back...
