So if you have smoked headlights you will need HID's to see at night right?

My front lenses look like hell. I'd like the smoked ones from AM, but damn $200 for lenses? I see the $50 HID bulbs from DDM tuning. whats the difference between these and the $250+ HID kits from AM?

ill give you my own personal/friends personal experience with HID's and such.

YES -- when you get smoked clear corners, your lights will dim down substantially.. i have 8000k HID's in my headlights and they are VERY bright to other people, but when in the car looking out at night, they are just bright (not crazy bright).. not as bright as if i had 6000 or 4300k with stock headlights, but let me tell you that i wouldnt trade my headlight/lighting combo for anything... (besides maybe 55watt instead of 35)

now my friend, he wanted the absolute BEST for his 300zx... he bought a $350 set of HID's online, and ya know what? mine are just as bright, and i got mine for $130 shipped lifetime warranty a year ago.. EBAY too... so the most expensive thing isnt always the best... most palces now come with lifetime warranty.. he regrets that purchase the most til this date

i'll personally be going with the lights from DDMtuning bc my buddy's friend runs them and they are perfectly fine. and its a lifetime warranty! $45 - cant really beat that

every car should have HID's - just my opinion

and i too was deciding between if i should just get ebay lights, or if i should just get AM lights. i decided to man up and spend the $188.xx on AM lights bc i didnt want to deal with ebay. i cant stand ebay, and i know that AM would take a return and give me new ones if something was wrong with them... AM FTW... the headlights are the most noticeable thing on my car.. just get the AM unless somebody has gotten the ebay ones and had good results that they can post.

hope this helps you guys
