Default MAC vs. Flowmaster

I want to buy a catback for my gt, and I've narrowed it down to either flows or mac but I want some feedback from those of you that have either..and any vids would be good as well, I've watched some on youtube but there's only so many. but give me your opinion about both and any issues anyone has had with the fitment, drone etc.- thanks

in my opinion go MAC. I think they sound a bit better than flows and are not as restrictive.

Here is a vid of my MAC mufflers. this is just mufflers welded on the stock catback with the stock midpipe and manifolds, so getting a catback would be a little bit louder

And about the drone, there is a bit at 2k rpm, but its not loud or annoying at all, I drive on the highway everyday for 40 miles going 70-75 and it does not bother me one bit.

Consider Cherry Bomb Extreme's. Jeg's sells them. They are a chambered muffler, but with only 1 chamber. They sound WICKED on our GTs.

I vote MAC's. I've had both MAC's cat-back and 40 series flows on a new edge and I thought the MAC sounded a little better, it rumbles like flowmasters, but is a little bit louder as well. They sound great with an o/r midpipe as well. Many people dislike it, but I love the sound of an x-pipe with chambered mufflers. Most people stick with h-pipes when using chambered mufflers.

H Pipe and MAC Catback is my favorite. If you have an X-pipe get Bassani.
