Default Cobra Brakes??

so its to my understanding that for the front brakes, GT's need a whole new system including brackets (can somebody explain the bracket thing to me please?) so you would need the rotors, calipers and pads, mounting brackets and optional SS braided lines

CORRECT?

do you NEED the banjo bolts or w/e they are and the dust shields?? do my stock brakes as they sit now have dust shields?

now to the rear..

i just found out on SVTperformance that the rear calipers for the cobras are basically the same as GT's, just with thinner pads and a different mounting bracket??

truth or false?

bc than i would just buy the bracket, some used rear rotors, and some new mach/cobra/bullitt pads

back seems like a simple cheap upgrade for the rear

where can i buy JUST the bracket??

thanks guys!!!

im pretty sure you can use the rear GT calipers. I don't think its worth upgrading the rear brakes, just get good rotors and pads. In any case might have a look at this if you decided to upgrade the rear: http://www.buyfordracing.com/shop/pr..._id=477cPath=6

I have learned that for dd/street use, blank rotors are the way to go.
