Arrow COME IN PLEASE, NEED HELP!!!!!

Well to start off, I have a 01 Mustang GT. Two days ago I was driving to my house and it was raining outside. I hit a huge water puddle about 1/2 mile away from my house. Right when I hit the puddle, my power steering went out, and my battery light came on right way. I thought if I let it sit for awhile and dry off, the battery light would go out but it didn't. I drove it last night around the block and the brakes were really hard to stop, the battery light was still on, and the power steering was still out. Can some let me know what happen and what I need to do to fix the problem.

Thanks

+100 Belt. Alt and Power steering both share the belt as the common denominator.

May I suggest changing your thread title to describe briefly what your issue is. It will get more attention and help this way.
