IRS for solid trade
My IRS, even having upgraded suspension, and a very stiff ride, is more comfortable driving it daily. My SRA can launch no problem, but gets just as much Wheel hop.
What is with the IRS hate here? Dayum!!!!
LOL.....
I love MF, but this thinking is why SVTP sees this site as a group of retards that only say "looks good, man!" and "what exhaust sounds best?"
IRS is awesome, after you ferret out the shortcommings. An SRA is just cheaper and easier....
Honestly, no. My car is a DD and I enjoy the finest twisties So Cal has to offer and I don't miss it at all.
TRUTH... that and the fact that the 99 01 irs sucks ****...
a decent irs with simple mods works perfect.. yes it might have wheelshop if you drive like a dumbass on **** tires.. But other than the weight, and the fact that it might require a tad bit more upkeep its a great addition to your average street car that doesnt see alot of time on full out slicks... I have had both in my car.. the solid was a full drag setup.. no swaybay, spherical ends, double adjustable uppers, single adjustable lowers.. lakewood shocks, full front suspension.. IT SUCKED.. rode awful, sent vibrations and whines through the unibody, and on top of all that, IT HOOKED WORSE than my irs with bushings and a brace, on stock springs and shocks.. My car has been to the track on 17s front and back, done 1.62 60s a few times in a row on drag radials, it has been launched on the street hundreds of times, and seen 10k or so hard miles on sticky tires.. never had a problem never broke anything..... Solid lasted a week in the car i hated it sooo much...
irs is going back in the car, gonna try and do some 1.5 1.4 60s on dragradials with around 800rwhp... its going to have a few changes and a few custom touches, end goal being going really fast on 17inch wheels and tires on a suspension that everyone says sucks.

I was only kidding that is why that little smiley face is after what I wrote. But I will agree with you on the fact that MF is 90% tards. And If you notice I was also joking in my original post that you assumned I was a tard.
I did the swap and I couldn't be happier...it's not for everyone and that's great. Would've loved to make the IRS work for me but the swap was definitley the right decision for me. To each their own....
